HTH Announces 2003-2004 Essay Contest Winners RADNOR, PA ; MAY 24, 2004: HTH Worldwide announced today the winners of its 2003-2004 Essay Contest. Contestants submitted essays describing what motivates them to pursue their studies internationally and discussing how international education affects the world around us. A panel of seven judges selected the following winners who received scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000.
Contest winners represented Japan, the Philippines, India and Zimbabwe. An additional $500 award goes the International Studies Office at SUNY-Buffalo, which sponsored the winning student. HTH also announced that the 2004-2005 Essay Contest submissions are due December 6, 2004. This year entrants should discuss how their experience as a student at an American college or university has changed his or her perception of the United States.
